Developing a pixel perfect website

The VillaFact team provided us a stunning design and said, “make this reality”, so we did and we’re excited to share! The fun stuff included fade animations, CSS only sliders, a custom form that automatically calculates a score and sends a follow up email upon submission, and lots of shadow effects.

What made this site special

Building and integrating a custom survey into the core of the website was probably the most fun we had. The survey has a few JavaScript bells and whistles, but is mostly CSS, which we think is pretty cool. Dynamic visibility on case specific follow up questions and a progress bar make the survey interactive. Upon submission, the user is sent an automatic email with the score calculated and resources for following up.

The survey is one of two main call to actions on the website, the other being an invitation to schedule a video call with the founder to learn more about the app. The survey is accessible in multiple places via blocks like the one shown here.

A survey form with dynamic logic

Dynamic visibility on case specific follow up questions and a progress bar that visually updates and informs the submitter where they are in the survey add a clean finish. Upon submission an algorithm calculates the survey score and sends an automatic email to the submitter.

Animated CSS only tabbed slider

The tabs shown here are built using the simple and powerful flexbox CSS layout. The implementation hides unselected content offscreen, smoothly accesses by the anchor linked tabs. On mobile the tabs turn into buttons and the text / content blocks are stacked for a seamless responsiveness.

JavaScript enabled safety facts slider

Similar to the tabbed slider, our home safety facts slider needed a little JavaScript spice to make the next/ previous buttons work. Complete with hover effects and a light visual cue on the middle right this minimal slider is a joy to use.
